The Essex HMVA is unusual in that it has a military vehicle storage and restoration facility.

"The Barn", which is located near Maldon, is a location where Association Members can rent a bay for vehicle restoration or storage inside. An allocated bay measures about 12ft wide and 15ft deep (approximately). The Barn provides secure, weather proof storage and has water, power and lighting. It is a great place to meet other members where all can provide assistance and knowledge to help with vehicle restoration, repairs and servicing. There is a monthly rent fee paid, and additional rules also apply. When it is running fully occupied, we utilise a waiting list for a bay.

Our Treasurer leads the barn management team, and if you have a military vehicle, and are a member of the Essex HMVA, you can apply to store it at our facility. Please use the contact us section to enquire.
